Beyond the stage, I have also had the privilege of sitting on the other side of the table — evaluating creative work as a jury member. It is a responsibility I take seriously: choosing means giving visibility, and visibility shapes culture.
Xiaomi Imagery Awards 2024

Selected as one of the international jury members for the Xiaomi Imagery Awards 2024 — a global photography competition born from the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica. I evaluated thousands of photographic works and series from creators around the world, selecting the winning images that best captured the spirit of mobile visual storytelling. An extraordinary window into how people see, feel and frame their reality through a lens that fits in their pocket.
Other Jury Roles
Throughout my career I have participated as jury member in audiovisual and creative competitions, film festivals and innovation awards — bringing my dual perspective as filmmaker and technologist to the evaluation process. From student short film festivals to European innovation recognitions, I believe that judging creative work is also a form of cultural dialogue: you learn as much from the submissions as the creators learn from the feedback.
