My university road started with a Technical Engineering – a sort of BSc – in electronic systems, which provided me the basis of an analytic thinking, hard work discipline, and ability to face and solve a lot of circumstances. I dealt with microchips, computing languages but also with a new global change: the Internet. My final thesis – 2001- was totally oriented to this subject. Years later, in 2013,  after crossing different and exciting bridges, I came back to engineering to get a Master of Science in Multimedia Ambient Intelligence, in which I decided to mix my previous experience to develop an affective interface to recognize expressions:
